WHAT IS A MINIATURE HORSE ?
The miniature horse is a unique breed, an elegant little scaled down version of a larger sized horse, measuring no more than 34 inches at the last hair of the mane.
A miniature holds much appeal to all kinds of people of any age can enjoy them. Children and these little horses have a natural attraction for each other. A small child can be afraid of a standard sized horse, but be eager to hug a mini foal. An older person, no longer as mobile as he or she would like to be, can enjoy driving, handling and showing a miniature. Those who have always had horses, but find they can no longer handle 500 to 1000 kilos of determined horse, can still have all the experience and enjoyment with a miniature horse.
People in stressful jobs or situations find much relaxation in coming home to their delightful little horses. And what a cure for loneliness! Because of their gentle, affectionate nature and small size, a miniature horse is an excellent pet. Miniature horses can be any color, from black to pinto to appaloosa and palomino, with all the colors in between.
Miniature horses are such delightful little creatures and are sure to bring you much happiness, should you have the good fortune to own one. All those who come into contact with them will agree - they are a friendship horse, a family, a sunshine horse, they are the horse for people in all walks of life ; an object of beauty; often called the greatest pet in the world!
